The only loan with take-backs

9 out of 10 consumers prefer the Kasasa Loan.

The Kasasa Loan is the only loan that lets consumers pay ahead to reduce debt, and take that extra back if they need it. We call it a take-back.

98% of consumers said they would refinance existing debt at the same rate to get this loan.1

Bottom line: Kasasa’s hybrid loan is a winning concept, especially for its community bank and credit union clients looking to differentiate themselves from the big banks and online lenders.

Have more questions? Here are some common ones.

How does the Kasasa Loan work?

It works just like a regular loan, with an agreed-upon payment schedule. The consumer gets their initial disbursement and makes regular payments until the balance is paid in full.
  • Using our unique loan management dashboard, the consumer can decide to increase their payment, either in a lump sum, or over time, to pay the loan down faster — making them happy.
  • If for some reason the consumer needs access to cash quickly, they can “take back” any portion of the over-payment (the difference between the original schedule and the new, accelerated payoff schedule).
  • The money hits their checking account and the payment schedule is adjusted.

How does this impact my loan underwriting?

Kasasa does not underwrite any loans. All underwriting remains with your institution.

Is this product compliant with my institution?

Yes. Kasasa Loans are built to be compliant with all relevant lending acts and regulations. All information related to loan documentation, transactions, and amortization schedules are transparent for institutions and borrowers.

Will this complicate my current lending process?

No. Kasasa Loans provides staff a modern, interactive interface that categorizes loan data and allows staff to easily manage loans.
