She spent her first five years on the Retail Experience and Development team facilitating Kasasa kickoff events, training workshops, and change management programs. In that time she consulted and trained over 200 Kasasa financial institutions nationwide. Eager to spread the word about Kasasa to new institutions, Ashley joined the Sales team in 2016 and since then has licensed over a dozen new Kasasa partners.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with a focus in Public Speaking from Texas State University and is a Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner.

Ashley is a native Austinite who enjoys attending live music venues, eating and photographing her way through Austin restaurants, and taking her goldendoodle puppy, Dexter, to Auditorium Shores.

Gabe took the helm in 2001, spearheading a five- year plan to drive the company into profitable territory. Gabe serves on the board of the Association for Financial Technology. He earned his MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owens Graduate School of Management and his BS from Louisiana State University.

Patrick Laughlin is responsible for developing and executing upon Kasasa’s overall government relations, regulatory agency, and compliance strategies and initiatives. He and his team research regulatory requirements for current and future products. They also create and maintain account holder disclosures and marketing disclaimer guidance for clients. At the same time, they develop relationships with influential government and regulatory officials to minimize regulatory risks and generate positive business outcomes for Kasasa financial institutions.

During his tenure with Kasasa, Patrick has held multiple management roles; resolved a major regulatory misunderstanding with a federal banking agency; automated the generation of TISA and TILA disclosures and disclaimers; and has participated in more than 400 meetings with Members of the United States Congress and/or their staff, lobbying for regulatory relief and reform for community financial institutions.

Patrick graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in Psychology.

Jill has been part of the Kasasa team for four years. Jill earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition, she graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Bill is responsible for the success of our Kasasa clients in the Eastern region of the US. He joined Kasasa as a Client Success Manager in 2014. Prior to Kasasa, Bill was an interest rates trader and portfolio manager specializing in U.S. and European debt markets as they relate to the yield curve. He primarily helped private and sovereign funds hedge their duration exposure. His biggest accomplishment as a trader was successfully changing the leverage ratios of proprietary traders at the Chicago Board of Trade by modeling over 100 different volatility scenarios for the executive team.

As Vice President of Consumer Marketing, CW’s mission is to deliver marketing performance for Kasasa’s financial institution partners. From lifecycle marketing to performance marketing, CW and her team are focused on the design, testing, and optimization of consumer marketing programs that are “always on” and always strong.

CW has held senior level marketing and product management roles for global companies such as Harte Hanks, HomeAway Inc., Dun & Bradstreet, Limited Brands, Travelocity, and Meredith Publishing. Throughout her 20+ years in marketing, she has cultivated expertise in helping brands connect with consumers by leveraging data, content, creative, and technology to create meaningful consumer interactions.

When CW is not helping Kasasa institutions win the war, she can be found horsing around on her mini-ranch on the south side of Austin.

Kasasa had the good fortune of bringing on Chris Cohen in 2011. As an executive consultant, he quickly distinguished himself and moved to the Product Management team where he currently leads the development of Kasasa Loans, which earned Kasasa a Finovate “Best of Show” award in 2018. Chris’s background in banking mergers and acquisitions gives him an intuitive understanding of what drives successful institutions forward.

Chris started out working for a hedge fund and learned the world of debt and derivatives. Afterwards, he worked for a private equity firm in Nashville as an analyst on their leveraged buyout team. He eventually moved to Austin to join Highline Financial as an associate in their mergers and acquisitions group, where he valued and analyzed more than 50 M&A transactions in the banking space.

Chris received his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas and earned his BS in Finance and Economics from Lipscomb University. He has a wife and two young children whom he adores.

Prior to Kasasa, Kevin sharpened his tactical skill set across a diverse range of business focuses, working as an Equities Trader for Assent, a Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo, and a Real Estate Agent.

Kevin received his BBA in Finance from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Outside of Kasasa, Kevin is a published author of the five-star-rated book on Tic-Tac-Toe strategy, Tictactics. He owns and runs the largest chess channel on YouTube and is a member of Austin’s only curling team to score an 8-ender. He is a proud husband and father of four girls under the age of five.

Greg is a native Austinite who, of course, loves tacos, craft beers, music fests, and all things outdoors. When not working or relaxing, Greg also works with ProductCamp and Texas Venture Labs to mentor young entrepreneurs and help ensure their efforts are delivering tangible value.

She is currently a Product Manager. You’d think wearing so many hats over the years would slow her down, but the opposite holds true as she helps drive Kasasa to greatness. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Princeton University in 2007, and loves to cheer on the Tigers.

Outside of Kasasa, Jessica likes to mix things up with a healthy dose of flag football, pizza tasting, and planning her upcoming nuptials with her fiancé Josh. As a mother of two fluffy dogs, Kona and Jean-Luc, her life is full of love — and fur.

She owned her own business, worked in many roles at a megabank, managed a small community bank, and was Director of Tourism for the Austin Hispanic Chamber before coming to Kasasa. She began her Kasasa career as a Regional Trainer, promoted to Lead Trainer in 2010 and Retail Experience Manager in November 2015 where she continues to grow her 20+ years of experience in the financial industry. She is responsible for the delivery of retail enablement guidance, training, change management programs, and tools prescribed to our community financial institutions.

She earned her Master Trainer Certification and Sales Coach Certification through The Association for Talent Development in January 2014.

Dorothy began her career at Kasasa in 2014 as a Retail Experience Analyst where she mystery shopped more than 400 financial institutions, testing their Kasasa product knowledge and service offerings. After making — quite literally — more than 10,000 of these calls to various financial institutions, she decided it was time to hit the road and start visiting them as a Retail Experience Consultant. In this role, Dorothy has worked with more than 75 financial institutions in nearly 30 states helping their leadership instill a sales culture and enable Kasasa success.

When she isn’t catching a flight around the country, Dorothy and her husband enjoy marveling at the professional photographs taken by their eldest son, Jacob, and traveling to watch their younger son, Payton, play baseball with Texas A&M in Corpus Christi.

A Midwesterner at heart, Kelsey moved to Austin from Chicago, where she lived for eight years. While in the windy city, she discovered her passion for client services and product management, while working in the fast-paced startup industry. After growing tired of the cold weather, she learned about Kasasa and instantly fell in love with the company’s mission (and the warmer weather too!).

Kelsey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from DePaul University. She is excited to be part of Kasasa’s mission and spends her time outside the office running by Lady Bird Lake, checking out new restaurants, and traveling.

Stephen joined Kasasa as a Retail Experience Consultant in 2015, where he had the pleasure of working with more than 75 financial institutions in 26 states. Taking that field experience with him, Stephen transitioned into the role of Instructional Designer, where he translates product knowledge and sales principals into bite-size eLearning modules. If you’ve been on the RED Channel, you’ve definitely heard his narration — think Morgan Freeman, but finance.

When not developing learning material for financial institutions, Stephen spends his time either outdoors with his wife and three dogs, or indoors shouting at his favorite football team on TV — all positive things we are told.
